In August 2019 I’ll be cycling 1600 km from Townsville to Brisbane as part of the Bottlemart Smiddy Challenge. That’s nine days in the saddle (I know, I’m sore just thinking about it).

Why am I taking on this challenge?

1 - because of my love of cycling

2 - It’s also helping a great cause which so many Australians are affected by in one way or another. The long, hard road to fight cancer.

As part of my challenge I’m aiming to raise $5000 to support the work of Mater Research—Mater’s world-class research institute that’s investing in some game-changing work into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer.
